Realme has teased its next smartphone in the budget C-series in India. The company has teased the Realme C51 with the tagline “Champion is coming” and has also promised a more engaging experience for the smartphone. Realme has added a poster to tease the C51 smartphone on its official India website. The poster shows the notch and the mini capsule of the upcoming smartphone that is also available in the Realme C55 and the C53 models.
Mini capsule is Realme’s version of Dynamic Island that was first launched with iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Realme C51: Expected price and availability
Last month, the Realme C51 smartphone was launched in Taiwan and it is also available in other markets like Indonesia, Cambodia and more. As per the company’s website, the Realme C51 is expected to arrive in two different colour options: Mint Green and Carbon Black. The smartphone is also likely to be priced under Rs 10,000. To compare, the latest Realme C53, which was launched in July, is priced at Rs 9,999.
Realme C51 smartphone is expected to be available on the company’s official website, Flipkart and offline channels after its launch. The company hasn’t revealed the exact launch date of the smartphone. Rumours suggest that Realme C51 may launch in early September.
Realme C51: Key specs (global variant)
The global variant of the smartphone sports a 6.7-inch LCD screen that supports HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Realme C51 is powered by the Unisoc T612 chipset and features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
For optics, the smartphone has a 50MP dual-rear camera setup and a 5MP front shooter for selfies and video calls. Realme C51 packs a 5000mAh battery unit that supports 33W SuperVOOC fast charging.
Realme is also celebrating its 5th anniversary with a sale where it is offering discounts on several products. The company is offering discounts on the latest smartphones like the Realme 11 5G and other models. At this sale, other products like the Realme Pad 2, Buds Air 5 and others are also available at a discount.
