OnePlus Pad likely to launch next year

Earlier this year it was reported that OnePlus may launch its first Android tablet soon. Now a new report has surfaced online revealing that the company may launch its first Android tablet next year.

According to tipster Max Jambor, OnePlus is tipped to be working on its first Android tablet. Likely to be called the OnePlus Pad, the tablet is expected to launch next year. Earlier it was reported that OnePlus may launch the OnePlus Pad in the first half of 2022. Another online report revealed that the company may price the OnePlus Pad under Rs 20,000.

It is also expected that the OnePlus Pad will come with Android 12L out-of-the-box. Designed for big screen devices, Android 12L brings changes to the home screen, lock screen, notification shade, device set-up screens and settings.

OnePlus Pad likely specifications
OnePlus Pad is said to feature a 12.4-inch full HD+ OLED display. The Android tablet is likely to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset. The device will reportedly pack 6GB of RAM.

OnePlus Pad is expected to sport a dual rear camera. The tablet is said to comprise of 13MP main camera and a 5MP secondary shooter. The Android tablet is likely to house an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

OnePlus Pad will be reportedly backed by a 10,090 mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
